The most important thing for a sensitive person to do is learn to control their feelings. Sensitivity doesn't mean timidness or weakness. You can be a rage-filled, sensitive person as well! It's important for all sensitive people to learn how to put their feelings in check. The feelings aren't in charge! You are.
2. Learn to protect yourself.
There are a lot of people in this world who will want to hurt you, there's no doubt about it. And it sucks to be hurt, especially if you're sensitive. So learn to trust your instincts and protect yourself. If you have to put up a little bit of a wall, that's okay.
3. Learn to stay focused.
It's easy to be distracted when you're sensitive. Even the slightest negativity can derail your entire day. In the face of that kind of thing, refocus yourself! Think hard about what you need to accomplish. Don't let other people derail you.
4. Learn to recognize your strength.
Society says that sensitive people are weak, but you're actually strong. First of all, it's a sign of strength to be able to express yourself fully. Secondly, it takes strengths to so fully feel the emotions of those around you as well. You're actually very strong!
5. Learn to be your true self.
At the end of the day, sensitive people need to learn to be themselves. Society says that sensitive people are wusses or weak. That's not the case. So don't try to be someone you're not. It'll completely drain you! Instead, be yourself.
