11:11 – Are You Seeing It Too?

If you’ve ever wondered about the significance of these number sequences, you’re not alone. Many people have asked us about their meaning during our angel workshops. So, we went to the Source and asked for guidance to interpret the meanings of repetitive number sequences. As a longtime student of Pythagorean sacred numerology (including a past life as his student) and also an angel channeler, I rapidly received information as to what the angels were conveying through these sequences. Below is a sampling of some number sequences your angels may show to you. Ask for clarification if the numbers’ message is unclear by saying to them silently or aloud, “Please clearly explain so I’ll easily understand.” As with any divination tool, defer to your own inner wisdom as the ultimate authority. In other words, if in doubt, then trust your gut.
“You have guardian angels with you right now — continuously — guaranteed! Your angels guide you through your thoughts, feelings, words, and visions. They also show you signs—that is, things that you see repeatedly with your physical eyes. One of their favorite signs relates to number sequences. These are numerals that you repeatedly see on license plates, phone numbers, clocks, and so on.”

111 – Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don’t want. The sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means that the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form. Are you pleased with what thoughts the universe has captured? If not, correct your thoughts…ask your angels to help you with this if you have difficulty controlling or monitoring your thoughts.
123 — Simplify your life. Get rid of anything that’s pulling at your energy, time, or finances—especially anything that pulls you away from your life purpose. The ascended masters are helping you with this simplification.
222 — Have faith. Everything’s going to be all right. Don’t worry about anything, as this situation is resolving itself beautifully for everyone involved.
333 — The Ascended Masters are near you, desiring you to know that you have their help, love and companionship. Call upon the Ascended Masters often, especially when you see the number 3 patterns around you. Some of the more famous Ascended Masters include: Jesus, Moses, Mary, Quan Yin and Yogananda.
444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear—all is well.
555 — Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being “positive” or “negative” since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continuing seeing and feeling yourself to be at peace.
666 — Your thoughts are out of balance right now, focused too much on the material world. This number sequence asks you to balance your thoughts between Heaven and Earth. Like the famous, “Sermon on the Mount” the angels ask you to focus on spirit and service, and know your material and emotional needs will be met as a result.
777 — The angels applaud you… “congratulations, you’re on a roll! Keep up the good work and know your wish is coming true.” This is an extremely positive sign and you should also expect more miracles to occur.
888 — A phase of your life is about to end, and this is a sign to give you forewarning to prepare. This number sequence may mean you are winding up an emotional career or relationship phase. It also means there is light at the end of the tunnel. In addition it means, The crops are ripe. Don’t wait to pick and enjoy them. In other words, don’t procrastinate in making your move or enjoying the fruits of your labor.
875 — The changes you’re making have put you on the right path for manifesting abundance in all ways.
999 — Get to work, Lightworker! The world needs your Divine life purpose right now. Fully embark upon your sacred mission without delay or hesitation.
000 — A reminder you are one with God, and to feel the presence of your Creator’s love within you. Also it is a sign that a situation has gone full circle.

These Things Happen To Your Brain When You’re Anxious

Mechanisms of Anxiety: (1) Overactivation of brain neurotransmission and neuronal firing; (2) Underinhibition of brain neurotransmission and neuronal firing; (3) Both – Carl Salzman, MD
Experiencing anxious feelings from time to time is no big deal – it’s a normal part of life. Anxiety, in many ways, can actually benefit us. One prominent psychiatrist puts it this way: “Anxiety traits can be beneficial evolutionarily,” but warns “Yet an emotional event, even minor sometimes, can induce brain changes that might lead to full-blown anxiety.”
It is important, therefore, to distinguish anxiety from an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is an umbrella term applied to the activation of the amygdala, and any subsequent thoughts or emotions. An anxiety disorder is a condition whereupon a person experiences the former in ways that creates distress. The former may be good or bad, but the latter is always bad.
Evolutionary biologists posit that anxiety is a brain trait developed during the early years of man. In these primitive times, humans had to be on constant alert for all types of threats – and it was often a matter of life or death. Today, we know this as the “fight or flight” response. While we may not be fending off cougars or sabretooth tigers, external stressors in modern society can be formidable.
This segues into the topic of this article: what happens to the brain when it’s anxious. We approach this topic from both a physiological and psychological perspective.
We’ll also discuss some coping mechanisms that professionals have suggested.

In a study published in the journal Current Biology, researchers discovered “that people diagnosed with anxiety are less able to distinguish between a neutral, “safe” stimulus…” and other types of stimuli. In other words, anxiety creates a behavioral phenomenon that skews the brain’s perception of reality. Neuroscientists call this phenomenon “overgeneralization.”
What does this behavioral phenomenon do to the brain?
Anxiety and overgeneralization effectually changes the brain’s structure – a physiological alteration known as brain plasticity. These alterations to the brain’s structure can be either positive or negative. For example, brain plasticity may allow a stroke victim to regain some or all of their previous functions.
On the negative side, consistent exposure to stress may rewire the brain. In this case, these changes may result in a person living in a near-constant state of fear, anxiety, depression, and so on.
Brain plasticity is often referred to as neuroplasticity within the medical community, and is defined as: “The brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life.” As early as 10 years ago, scientists believed that the brain’s ability to reshape itself had a fixed time window; this theory has since been disproven.
The brain’s ability to structurally change throughout life is considered vital knowledge for the treatment of those suffering from both physical and mental illnesses. Indeed, the resiliency of the brain has – in many ways – revolutionized the treatment of conditions, from aneurysm to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

According to the same study, anxiety can alter the brain’s plasticity, specifically in the areas responsible for regulating neuronal activity. As a result of these structural changes, people with anxiety-related conditions such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) often perceive a threat when none is present. The brain is much likelier to initiate a “fight or flight” response under these conditions.
Contrast this response to those without anxiety. In the latter group, the brain mechanisms responsible for triggering this emotion will quickly revert back to their original, inactive state. However, for people with anxiety, “…(the) emotional experience induces plasticity in brain circuits that lasts after the experience is over.
Simply put, the brain is now on “high alert,” anticipating a threat and preparing to react. Researchers observed that “anxiety patients respond emotionally to new stimuli…even in irrelevant new situations,” attributing these responses to “a perceptual inability to discriminate.” For those with GAD and other anxiety disorders, this response is both involuntary and uncontrollable.
Predictably, brain images taken of the two participant groups revealed noticeably-different activity. Functional magnetic resonance images (fMRIs) of the anxiety group revealed elevated neural activity, including in the primary sensory regions of the brain. The most conspicuous differences in brain activity were observed within the amygdala – an area of the brain responsible for the “fight or flight” response, and other associated, excitatory brain activity.

As anxiety is a complex medical condition, recommendations for treating the condition are multifaceted.
Of course, the most common form of treatment – as with most medical conditions – is prescription medication. Anxiety is a byproduct of intricate brain activity, and these medications seek to rebalance associated brain chemicals.
Promisingly, natural treatment in the forms of meditation, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and even regimentation of nutritional and exercise habits have shown tremendous promise. More research studies continue to surface demonstrating the effects of MBSR and mindfulness meditation.
Sara Lazar, a leading neuroscientist and professor at Harvard Medical School, says “I’ve been (meditating) for 20 years now…it’s had a profound influence on my life. It’s very grounding. It’s reduced stress. It helps me think more clearly. It’s great for interpersonal interactions. I have more empathy and compassion for people.”
Lazar has also participated in numerous research studies that correlate meditative practice with reduced stress and other benefits.

5 Signs You Need To Drink More Water

Did you know that 25% of kids and teenagers don’t drink ANY water as part of their fluid intake?
A surprising number of adults don’t drink enough water, as well, with one study finding that half of Americans don’t get their recommended daily intake of water. Many people down numerous caffeinated beverages throughout the day in order to stay awake, but forget to drink the one liquid that is absolutely vital to our survival. Not drinking enough water can pose serious threats to your health, including digestive issues, urinary tract infections, premature aging, and anxiety.
Water makes up anywhere from 55-65% of your body, which means you need a lot of it to stay hydrated. The water in your body becomes depleted when you exercise and do other activities, so replacing it is crucial. Water aids in almost every bodily function, so it quite literally gives us life.
As the water epidemic continues to grow, people have been searching for ways to drink more water, such as bringing a gallon with them to work, or making smoothies with water as the base. However, even with these attempts to drink more water, it’s important to be able to recognize the signals from your body that you need more water.

One of the biggest signs you need to drink more water appears on your skin, believe it or not. If you don’t drink enough water, you won’t sweat out all the toxins that have accumulated on your skin, which means you will be prone to clogged pores, which results in breakouts. Sweat also helps get rid of internal toxins, and since the skin is our largest organ, many toxins can be removed through it.
Also, if you have trouble producing tears, a lack of water could be the culprit. This could be especially uncomfortable for those who wear contacts, so make sure you bring a bottle of water with you on errands or to work if you have trouble drinking enough water. Obviously, getting that dry mouth signals to your brain that you need more water, also. Water does so much for our bodies, and in general, that parched feeling you get in your mouth can be felt in other areas of the body, too.

This one is a huge sign that you need to drink more water. Frankly, many people do not use the bathroom enough times throughout the day, which means that toxins are just sitting in their bodies. Water helps flush out these toxins, not to mention, keep your renal system running smoothly. If you make trips to the bathroom only a couple times a day, you should really consider drinking more water.
Also, the color of your urine will paint the true picture of how much water you’re consuming. If your urine isn’t clear at the end of the day, this shows that you need to guzzle down some more water. Yellow or brown urine is a big sign that you’re dehydrated, and means that your body is retaining fluids in order to maintain vital bodily functions.

Since your body’s cartilage is composed of nearly 80% water, replenishing water after sweating is essential for keeping bones and joints healthy. Water keeps joints lubricated in order to lessen the effects of strenuous activities or unexpected exertion, such as falling or tripping. In addition, back pain could indicate a kidney infection due to dehydration, so if you have frequent back aches, drink more water throughout the day.

Water brings oxygen into the body. The more oxygenated your cells, the more alive you will feel. However, if you don’t drink enough water, the body must get oxygen from your blood, which creates a deoxygenated environment in your body. When your body doesn’t get adequate oxygen, it starts to operate at a slower pace, which will means it must work harder to keep functioning. This will inevitably make you more tired, moody, and downright lethargic.

This might seem confusing, since hunger pangs usually indicate that you need to eat more food. However, it can also mean that you haven’t had enough water. Dehydration tricks the body into thinking it needs to eat, when really, you just feel thirsty. Hunger and thirst cues come from the same part of the brain, which could explain this confusion. The best way to differentiate hunger from thirst is to try drinking a glass of water, and seeing if the pain goes away. If it persists, it probably means you need to eat something, as well.

6 Signs You’re In A Relationship With Your Soulmate

Are you a hopeless romantic to believe in finding a soulmate, or does that make you a hopeful romantic? You have a yearning for finding your soulmate, that one person who will complete you, even if you haven’t yet met them. In some cases, you might have even met them already, but just need some signs you’ve found your soulmate.
We usually think of romantic movies when we think about finding the perfect love. In fact, movies help us define our romantic ideals. In one study, researchers found that watching romantic movies significantly predicted that a person believed in a perfect mate for everyone. People who watched romantic comedies reported stronger beliefs in an ideal romantic partner than those who did not watch romantic movies.
Another study showed that believing that one’s partner was Mr. or Mrs. Right was associated with having a happier relationship. When participants’ beliefs about their relationships were challenged by the researchers, those who believed that their partner was their soulmate were more likely to express relationship protecting thoughts than others.
If you are wondering if your partner and you are soulmates who were meant to be, here are some signs that you’re right for each other.

“A true soulmate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake.” – Eat, Pray, Love
You experienced a major change in your identity when you met your partner. Maybe it was meeting your soulmate that inspired you to change, or you made a decision to be different because of them.
You used to have casual partners but that’s in the past now. You used to go out all night with your friends but you haven’t done that since finding your soulmate. You used to believe that you’d never change for someone, but now you can see why others become different when they’ve met their One.

“You make me want to be a better man.” – As Good As It Gets
Among the other signs you’ve found your soulmate is that they challenge you to continuously improve yourself and the world around you. You both want the same things in life and you have inspiring, exciting plans for how you will contribute to future generations.

“You’re everything I never knew I always wanted” – Fools Rush In
When you think of your ideal partner, the one you have no problem calling “my soulmate,” you feel overwhelming love for them flowing through you. You feel so full of love and joy that you have to express your feelings before they burst out of you. You connect with them on an intimate level that has little to do with sex, one of the surefire signs you’ve found your soulmate.
The sex is great, of course, because you respect each other and you can sense your soulmate’s needs. But beyond that, you are joined mentally and spiritually in deep, meaningful ways. Read our article on 5 Signs You’re in a Spiritually Intimate Relationship to learn more about these connections and find out more about soulmate signs.

“I think I’d miss you even if we’d never met.” – The Wedding Date
Separation is not a problem for either of you. You trust each other to not stray out of the boundaries of the relationship while you’re apart, another one of the obvious signs you’ve found your soulmate.
You also know that the pain and loneliness while you’re apart will only make you more happy to see your soulmate again. Your reunion will make sparks fly, because upon finding your soulmate, the world forever changed.

“What’s a soulmate?…It’s one person who knew you, accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would.” – Dawson’s Creek
Upon meeting your soulmate, it was as if you had known each other before. There was something familiar, and every thought you had about how to find your soulmate melted away when you saw the comfort and safety of home in their eyes. If you had a menu of the traits that you would ask for in a mate, you couldn’t have asked for more.
When one soul finds its’ match, the connection can feel so unreal that you wonder if you had a past life together and were reborn again to find each other once more. The fates must have aligned to bring you a love that was right for you, a surefire sign you’ve found your soulmate once again.

“I want all of you, forever, you and me every day.” – The Notebook
Another one of the signs you’ve found your soulmate is that you are stronger with them than apart, and the two of you could conquer the world if you wanted to. Think of other inspiring power couples that you see in business, Hollywood and politics. That’s you and the one you call “my soulmate.”
You can sense that you have an impact on others just by the display of intimate connection that you exude when you are in public. Your friends want to know where to find a soulmate like yours, and if your partner has a brother or sister who is single. They want what you’ve got, and why wouldn’t they? Finding a soulmate is a rare occurrence, but it feels like coming home, and that’s what everyone wants.

Put A Sliced Lemon Next To Your Bed At Night For THESE Amazing Benefits

Few scents are as refreshing as that of a lemon. As it turns out, that smell is not only refreshing – it’s also good for you! In this article, we’re going to explore the benefits of making your very own natural lemon air freshener.

How might one create such a thing, you ask? Easy! All you’ve gotta do is grab a lemon, slice it into quarters and sprinkle some salt on it. Boom. Done.

Plop those slices on your nightstand and brace yourself for these 7 benefits.

#1 – Stress Relief

I know I’m not the only one whose stresses and anxieties tend to build up around bedtime. Some lemon slices on the nightstand will take care of that in a jiffy, though. You see, according to research, the smell of citrus relaxes one’s brain waves and emotions.

This leads nicely to the next point.

#2 – Increased Focus

Why would you need focus at bedtime, you ask? Well, it’s actually quite helpful – especially if you’re an insomniac whose brain tends to race all over the place. If that’s you, psychologists say a good night’s sleep depends on a few key things.
For one, you’ve got to focus on positive things – and, perhaps, relaxation exercises – that will get you in a state of mind conducive to rest. That’s where focus-boosting lemon fragrance comes in handy.

#3 – Better Breathing

Every time I try to sleep with a stuffy nose, I’m reminded of the times I took the simple pleasure of breathing for granted. Luckily, for those less-than-clear moments, we can call on lemons. Just let the gentle scent of that anti-oxidizing, anti-bacterial fruit waft through your nostrils and sleep, child. Sleep.

#4 – Insects-Be-Gone

Tired of mosquitoes making a meal of you at night? Or maybe it’s that fly buzzing around your ear that’s got you going insane. Fear no more! Our friendly neighborhood yellow fruit repels all sorts of insects. Those slices will keep them on the other side of the room.
You can add cloves for added insect-repellent effects, as seen in the video above.

#5 – Increased Energy & Positivity Come Morning

I know, morning is the last thing you want to think about as you climb into bed. But those slices on your nightstand will make wake-up time a lot less painful. That’s because the smell of lemon boosts your brain’s serotonin levels. This is a surefire way to ditch those morning blues.

#6 – Improved Air Quality

When’s the last time you thought about your home’s air quality? Not sure? Quick, get those slices! Lemon not only smells great – it also purifies air. It’s so powerful, in fact, that you can use it to quickly draw paint fumes out of a room.

#7 – Blood Pressure Reduction

Lemon aroma reduces blood pressure. Considering 32% of all Americans suffer from high blood pressure, that makes lemon one handy fruit for a lot of people.
