Cleanse Your Colon FAST With These 8 Remedies

How would you like to poop and lose 20 pounds? You might think it’s funny but that’s how much toxic waste the average American has sitting in their colon.

It’s more than just added weight, though. That toxic sludge prevents the colon from doing what it’s supposed to do – absorb nutrients and expel waste. It also negatively impacts gut bacteria, making it difficult to lose weight.
So what’s the solution to this whole colon fiasco? There are several, and I’m about to show you 8!

8 Natural Remedies To Cleanse Your Colon

#1 – Drink Lots of Water

This right here is a big one. As much as 75% of all Americans suffer from dehydration, a major cause of colon blockage. Your colon needs water to keep waste flowing – and it needs a lot more than you might think.
You should be drinking no less than 2 liters of water each day. Some health experts actually recommend that you exceed that number and push past liters daily. This will make that toxic sludge a lot easier to push out.

#2 – Make A Prune Juice Cleanse

Prune juice contains an epic amount of fiber. This makes it great for clearing colon blockage. How much prune juice you should drink depends on just how backed up you are. Generally, you’ll want to drink 8 ounces before breakfast and another 8 ounces after dinner.
Once you’ve noticed that your bowel movements are becoming more frequent, you can begin to wean yourself off drinking so much prune juice. This is to prevent your colon from becoming dependent on it. Look at it as a jump start.

#3 – Eat Lots Of Fiber

Prunes are just one good source of fiber. Here are a few more to try:
  • Avocados
  • Berries
  • Coconut
  • Figs
  • Okra
  • Brussels sprouts
Women between 19 and 50 should be getting 25 grams of fiber each day to ensure healthy waste passage. Men in that age range need 38 grams. After 50, women need 21 grams of fiber while men need 30.

#4 – Drink Lemon Juice Regularly

The high vitamin C content in lemon juice gives it antioxidant properties. According to research, this is great for your colon’s overall health. Lemons also boost your metabolic rate, increasing your body’s efficiency at expelling waste.
Drink warm lemon water at the start of each day. Read about more benefits of that here.

#5 – Get On The Probiotic Train

Probiotics are healthy bacteria. They regulate bad, toxic bacteria that leads to blockage in your gut and colon. Normally, your body contains enough probiotics. But certain medications, like antibiotics, can kill them off.
You can restore your level of probiotics by eating the following foods:
  • Yogurt
  • Kefir
  • Sauerkraut
  • Dark chocolate
  • Pickles
  • Kombucha
You can also take probiotic supplements. Read more about those here.

#6 – Throw Flaxseed On Everything

Okay, almost everything. Flaxseed goes great with oatmeal, cereal and even yogurt.
The omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseed do a great job of loosening your colon. Flaxseed also contains more fiber than any other grain. Those two points make flaxseed a fantastic eviction notice for the sludge that’s been wedged in your colon since God knows when.
100 grams of flaxseed contains 27 grams of fiber. Factor this into your daily fiber intake; taking too much over that amount will give you diarrhea.

#7 – Make An Apple Cider Vinegar Cleanse

Apple cider vinegar contains enzymes that support probiotic growth. Apple cider vinegar’s acidic nature can also help it battle through years of hardened toxic colon blockage. Seriously, years. That’s how bad things can get.
Mix 8 ounces of warm water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons of organic honey. Shake, stir and drink. Repeat this every morning until you notice your bowel movements have become more regular.
Read more about this recipe here.

#8 – Use Ginger Tea

Ginger warms up the inside of your body. This speeds up sluggish digestion and bowel movements. For best results, make a ginger tea; the added warmth of the water will go a long way.
Our ginger tea recipe requires the following:
  • 2 teaspoons of freshly grated ginger
  • A quarter teaspoon of turmeric (to reduce the bloating constipation causes)
  • 5 cups of spring water
Bring the water, ginger and turmeric to a boil. Then, reduce the heat to a simmer and let it sit for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and add raw honey to taste.

If you’re pregnant or on any medications, please consult with your doctor before giving these home remedies a try.

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER DRINK WATER WITH ICE

Icy cold water may seem as great refreshment during the hot, summer days; however it is actually very bad for your health. Next time you want to drink a glass of cold water stop and remember the things you are going to read in the following article. We are going to explain it to you thoroughly about the adverse effects of this habit on your health.
Imagine diving in a freezing cold mountain lake. You may start feeling cold just by thinking about it. What would happen to your body and skin once you jump in the defrosted lake?
Warm water causes the skin to become loose and soft and it opens the pores. Cold water does the exact opposite thing; it shrinks the pores and tightens the skin. Drinking cold water, on the other hand has the same effects on your digestive tract.

This is what cold water does to your body
  • Drinking cold water causes constriction of the blood vessels in the digestive tract which will cause dehydration and restriction in your digestive system
  • Regulating the inner body temperature requires more energy and you will not help your body do this if you drink iced water. The digestive system will not have enough energy to digest the food, to extract the nutrients or to reduce the water loss
  • Drinking cold water after meals causes production of excess mucus which will interrupt the immune system function. This means you will become more likely to catch a cold or develop a severe health condition
  • Drinking cold water or cold soda with your meals will cause you to gain weight. The body is not able to process excess fats because of the effects of cold beverages on the digestive system which means the fats will accumulate in your body
  • Cold water is only causing trouble for the digestive system as well as for the immune system function and the ability of the body to burn calories.
Why is drinking warm water better?
  • It enables maximum hydration
  • Improves digestion – the digestive enzymes are more stimulated
  • Improves food metabolism
  • Enables proper blood cleansing
  • Makes bowel movement easier ( drink a glass of warm lemon water every morning)
  • Improved detoxification through the skin, kidneys and lymphatic system
Drinking warm water is something you need to get used to; however once you do you will be amazed from the benefits it provides. This can also stop sugar cravings completely.

Only 1 In 20 People Can Spot The Baby In This Picture. Can You?

The internet is a great source for brain teasers, including optical illusions. This one has been floating around online for some time. Look at the serene picture below—now, can you spot the hidden baby?
In the picture, you’ll see a couple gazing out at a peaceful, inviting lake. It seems like a place of solitude, but they’re not alone.

Somewhere in the picture is a hidden baby.

Take a look—do you see it? No worries, not everyone can see it right away.

In order to spot the hidden infant, you just might have to think outside the box. It might help you to know that the baby’s position suggests it might still be in the womb.
It also might help you to know that unlike other babies, in comparison to the couple, this baby isn’t at all little.  You’ve probably spotted it by now.
However, if you still need some extra help spotting the infant, zero in on the strangely-shaped trees. They form a part of the baby’s body.
Still don’t see the hidden baby? Look at the space above the couple’s heads.
Now look to the right. The misshapen tree trunk form the baby’s feet.

If you still didn’t see the baby, here is the solution.  The hidden baby is outlined in red:

If You Notice These 5 Things Your Partner Isn’t A Cheater

Spouses or significant others cheating on each other might sound like a normal occurrence, until it happens to you. According to the experts, most women cheat because they feel something lacking emotionally within their relationship, but men typically cheat because they feel something lacking physically. Regardless of motives, women and men cheat at about the same rate, which some people might find surprising.

What’s more interesting is that partners who tend to cheat are also more likely to be untrustworthy in other areas of the relationship. Covering up an affair leads to more and more lies, which then makes it easier to lie in general; the more a partner lies, the more he or she becomes comfortable doing it. The trick is finding a partner you know will never feel the need to cheat. Here are five signs he or she will never cheat.

1. They Keep You Informed

If you’re with someone who enjoys keeping you up to date on their life outside of the relationship, the chances that they cheat will be very small.
Dishonest people tend to share as little as possible in an attempt to minimize the risk that they give away too much. Sharing shows that your partner not only wants to include you in the little details of their life, but that they take pride in telling you as well.

2. Their Schedule is Full

When your partner is forced to juggle work, school, the relationship, and other responsibilities, you can rest easy that they don’t have time for an affair.
Affairs are like second relationships; although they might not be as in depth, they still take time and energy away from the other aspects of life. When your partner is busy, they don’t have time for another relationship, especially one that demands physical attention.

3. They’re Honest in Everything

It’s easy to tell if you’re with an honest partner; simply think back to when they told you they were going to do something.
If they keep their word in almost every aspect of the relationship, you can be pretty sure they aren’t sleeping around. As was stated before, if a partner is cheating, they tend to lie about other aspects of the relationship as well. Honest people are honest no matter the situation.

4. They Cut All Ties to Past Romances

Some people insist on staying in touch with past romantic partners, but this is just unnecessary. If your partner has cut all ties to past relationships, not only does it mean they’re serious, but it also means they’re going to stay faithful. Nothing good can come from staying in touch with past partners, and it will only serve to hurt your current partner’s feelings.

5. They Make Time for You

When your partner fights to make time with you, and actually comes through, you know you’re the only one on their mind. When a partner begins having an affair, it’s no secret that they’ll start spending less and less time with you. Your partner should always try to find a little extra time here and there, and if they do, they probably aren’t going to cheat.

7 Simple Zen Rules That Will Redefine Your Life

These rules were compiled by a Zen monk known as Shaku. He had lived them each day until his passing in 1919.

Sleep at a regular hour

By going to sleep at a regular hour each day, you create important consistency in your life. Our mind and bodies need consistent rest so that you are at your best each morning, and are all the more likely to wake up early- and the quality of your morning is a huge factor in determining the quality of your life.

Eat with moderation and never overeat

It’s easy to forget the effect food can have on our lives, particularly with our modern-age eating habits. Over-eating is just around the corner for most of us, and abusing food has more than just physical consequences; it has very real mental as well as global ones too if you think about the huge amount of waste involved.

When an opportunity comes do not let it pass you by — but always think twice before acting

Consider if the opportunity is the right thing to do- if it’s moral and if it’s just- and make sure it’s the right thing for you specifically.

Light incense and meditate in the morning

Daily meditation, particularly first thing in the morning, is something I talk about often. This is probably the most important point here!
By the way, incense has some truly remarkable qualities. If you’re looking to understand why it’s been used for so many centuries, check out this article.

Do not regret the past. Look to the moment

This is the cornerstone of Buddhist philosophy. The past isn’t real; it doesn’t exist. Only the now exists, and the path our present actions will have in our future lives.

Watch what you say, and whatever you say, practice it

Words are one of the most powerful things in the world. They’ve ended love, began love, created war and peace. They have a profound effect on others. The second part to this point is just as important. You’ve probably heard the saying, “practice what you preach”, at some point in your life. Without that crucial aspect, we do not have any power behind our words, and therefore they become less effective.

Have the fearless attitude of a hero and the loving heart of a child

When dealing with others, whether in or out of confrontation, we should approach the situation with the loving heart of a child. A child naturally has great compassion, understanding, is naturally caring, who sees every person as an equal — regardless of their social standing.

Boy Lost 75% of His Eyesight After Playing With THIS Common Toy

Children get cuts, scrapes and bruises. Curious and brave, kids are constantly playing and exploring. It’s part of growing up. But playtime that seems harmless can turn into something much more serious within seconds.
Using laser pointers to play pretend rocket ships or make the family pet run back and forth looks like fun. But an eight-year-old boy’s experience with laser pointers is proof of the serious damage they can cause. Johnny Marshall was at his sister’s school fair when he saw a laser pen at one of the vendor booths. After some begging and pleading, his parents gave in and bought him the toy. Johnny was playing with his new toy at home when he shone it into his eyes out of curiosity — something that many children might do. Within a quarter of a second, he was left with a thermal burn and permanent damage to his retina.
The FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health states that laser pointers with a 3-5 milliwatt range fall within the federal safety limit. Thus far, there have been no reports of eye damage among those lasers. However, there are plenty of lasers that go well above the federal safety limits, posing a risk for anyone who comes in contact with them.
The United Kingdom has a different set of safety limits when it comes to laser pointers. “… If it had been within the UK regulations, it wouldn’t have done the damage,” said Johnny’s mother, Angela Marshall. “But unfortunately, it had been imported, and therefore it was a class 3B laser, which is between 5 and 500 milliwatts.” Class 3B lasers with a range of 5-500 milliwatts can cause damage to the eye within a fraction of a second, even from a distance. Serious eye damage can occur from up to 100 meters or about 328 feet away.
While Johnny thankfully doesn’t experience pain, 75% of his vision is gone, and he’ll be limited to 25% of his sight for the rest of his life. If you are using a laser pointer, here are seven important safety tips to remember:
  1. Don’t use laser pointers without labels – Imported lasers can be far more dangerous because they are higher-powered, and typically have no labels.
  2. Don’t point laser beams at faces or eyes – Laser beams can damage the retinas. Never point a laser beam at anyone’s face or eyes.
  3. Don’t point laser pointers at an aircraft – Even a lower-powered laser pointer can travel up to 2.2 miles before fading out. Shining a pointer at an aircraft is extremely hazardous.
  4. Don’t point laser pointers at automobiles – Laser pointers can cause temporary blindness or blind spots. Never point a laser anywhere near vehicles.
  5. Don’t hold a laser beam on skin – A powerful laser pointer can be felt on the skin if held in place, causing a person to experience a burning sensation.
  6. Don’t point lasers at animals – It’s very easy to accidentally shine the beam into the animal’s eyes, so never use a laser beam to “play” with animals.
  7. Don’t give laser pointers to children – Children do not understand the dangers of laser pointers, so it’s best to always keep them away from kids.
