From her interactions with her patients, she found that in the final days of their lives they shared five common regrets. 
As you read this, think to yourself what could you do differently right now, with your life, so that you live a life of joy, happiness, and meaning, and not experience these regrets?
When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. 
Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.
It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard. 
This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. 
All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.
By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.
We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. 
Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. 
Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.
It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. 
Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. 
That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier. 
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is 
a choice. 
They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.
When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.
Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

If You Get a Creeping Feeling in Your Legs at Night, THIS is What it Means!

Restless leg syndrome is a neurological disorder that is characterized by throbbing, pulling, creeping or other unpleasant sensations in the legs. The feeling is uncontrollable, and there is often an overwhelming urge to move the legs. Moving the legs helps to relieve discomfort, which can range in severity from irritating to painful.
It is estimated that  10% of the population suffers from restless leg syndrome. Childhood restless leg syndrome is estimated to affect almost 1 million school-aged children, with one-third experiencing moderate to severe symptoms.

What Causes It?

In most cases, the cause of restless leg syndrome is unknown, but it is believed to have a genetic component. Some evidence suggests that low levels of iron in the brain may also be responsible for the disorder. In many cases, it seems to be related to the following factors or conditions:

  • Chronic diseases such as kidney failure and diabetes
  • Certain medications that may aggravate symptoms, including anti-nausea drugs, anti-psychotic drugs, antidepressants that increase serotonin, and some cold and allergy medications that contain sedating antihistamines
  • Pregnancy, specifically in the last trimester
  • Alcohol use
  • Sleep deprivation

How Is It Diagnosed?

There is no specific test for restless leg syndrome, but rather criteria that indicate the disorder, including:
  • Symptoms that are worse at night and are absent or negligible in the morning
  • A strong and often overwhelming need or urge to move the affected limbs
  • Sensory symptoms that are triggered by rest, relaxation or sleep
  • Sensory symptoms that are relieved with movement, and the relief persists as long as the movement continues
Diagnosing restless leg syndrome in a child can prove to be difficult, as it’s often hard for them to describe where the pain is, how often the symptoms occur and how long the symptoms last. Restless leg syndrome in children may be misdiagnosed as “growing pains.”

How Is It Treated?

Restless leg syndrome can be treated using medications, but certain lifestyle changes can also help to reduce and relieve symptoms in those suffering from it. While researchers don’t know the exact cause, they do know that there is a connection between one’s lifestyle and how frequently their symptoms occur. If you’re living with restless leg syndrome, consider these lifestyle changes:
1. Healthy Diet
Eating a healthy diet can keep your body running smoothly and promote a good night’s sleep. Alcohol and caffeine are believed to trigger restless leg syndrome, so be sure to limit your intake, especially before bed.
2. No Smoking
Not only is smoking an addiction that destroys your lungs, it can make the body feel jittery and have a negative impact on sleep. If you struggle with restless leg syndrome, cut down on smoking or quit completely.
3. Be Aware of Medications
Medications that are being taken for other conditions may have side effects that make it difficult for your muscles to relax. Make sure to review any medications thoroughly with your doctor to find out if they are contributing to your disorder.
4. Exercise
According to the Willis-Ekbom Disease Foundation, those suffering with restless leg syndrome who exercised for 30-60 minutes a day reported less fatigue, less symptoms and better sleep habits. You don’t need to run miles upon miles or overexert yourself, but get into the routine of exercising each day, whether it’s walking, jogging, yoga or any other variety of fitness to help manage your symptoms.
5. Reduce Stress
Stress can play a role in aggravating restless leg syndrome, so try to find a way to reduce your stress level. Organization and prioritizing may help, along with relaxation techniques such as breathing and meditation.

Awakening The Third Eye – Be Careful What You Wish For

Have you ever heard the expression, ‘Be careful what you wish for’? For some people, the opening of the 3rd eye can show them things that they really didn’t want to see.  For others, it’s a journey of enlightenment. If you are sure that this is something you want to do, then please read on.

I turned on the light and the ring persisted of about a second after and I again felt a sting I my side and the same chills. I assure that I am not dreaming and fully awake.
If this is not some crazy hallucination then whatever I have been doing is either lighting me up like a porch light to attract moths or these entities are coming through to this world via my consciousness. A hallucination cannot affect you physiologically to make a shock effect.
I also have noticed that when did the exercises something seems to materialize in my room.
The way this thing or object would materialize is that it would appear like it was a different refractive index like the air. I would also see entities that looked like this right after I wake up. I have even noticed small feathers falling down in my room.
The level of perception was incredible. But was not worth being bothered by these entities.
I view it as the difference between having a solid spiritual mind or having a fear based mind.  It’s kind of like the 3rd eye mirror meditation where you end up seeing various faces from the collection or some of your past lives.  Not everyone will be ready for an experience such as that.
