6 Types of Empaths: Which One Are You and How to Make the Most of Your Gift?

Understanding which of the 6 types of empaths you are can help you to make the most of your gift while still taking care of yourself.

Empathy is the gift of being able to put yourselves in someone else’s shoes and feel things as if you were them. However, there are several different types of empaths, each of which has a different set of empathetic abilities.
The 6 main types of empaths are:

1. Emotional Empath

The emotional empath is one of the most common types of empaths. If you are this type, you will easily pick up the emotions of others around you and feel the effects of those emotions as if they were yours. The emotional empath will deeply experience the feelings of others in their own emotional body. For example, an emotional empath can become deeply sad around another individual who is experiencing sadness.
For emotional empaths, it is important to learn to differentiate between your own emotions and those of others. In this way, you can use your ability to help others without becoming drained.

2. Physical/Medical Empath

Those with this type of empathy can pick up on the energy of other people’s bodies. They intuitively know what ails another person. Many people with this type of empathy become healers either in the conventional medical professions or in alternative ones. Physical empaths may ‘feel’ an awareness  in their physical body when treating someone. They may also ‘see’ blockages in a person’s energy field that they sense need treating.
If you are a medical empath, you may pick up on symptoms from others and feel them in your own body. Taking on the physical symptoms of others may lead to health problems. Some people with chronic illnesses such as fibromyalgia or autoimmune diseases might find it helps to strengthen their own energetic field so that they can turn this ability off when necessary. Taking some training in a form of healing can also help to hone this ability.

3. Geomantic Empath

Geomantic empathy is sometimes called place or environmental empathy. Those with this ability have a fine attunement to the physical landscape. If you find yourself uncomfortable, or really happy in certain environments or situations, for no apparent reason, you may be a geomantic empath.
If you are a geomantic empath, you will feel a deep connection to certain places. You may be drawn to sacred stones, groves, churches or other places of sacred power. You may also be sensitive to the history of a place and be able to pick up on sadness, fear or joy that have occurred in locations. Place empaths are highly attuned to the natural world and grieve for any damage to it. They watch with horror when trees are cut down or landscapes destroyed.
If you are this type of empath, you will probably need to spend time in nature to recharge. You may also find helping in an environmental project very healing for you. It is also important for you to make your everyday surroundings as harmonious and beautiful as you can. You may feel happier if you fill your house with plants and natural scents. You might also like to choose natural materials such as wood and linen for your clothing and furniture.

4. Plant Empath

If you are a plant empath, you intuitively sense what plants need. You will be green-fingered and have a true gift for placing the right plant in the right place in your garden or home. Many plant empaths choose to work in parks, gardens or wild landscapes where they can put their gifts to good use. In fact, if you have chosen an occupation that involves plants, then you are probably a plant empath. Some people with this gift actually receive guidance from trees or plants directly by hearing it within the mind.
If you are this kind of empath, you will already know that you need a lot of contact with trees and plants. You might like to strengthen this bond by sitting quietly by a special tree or plant and attuning more closely to its needs and guidance.

5. Animal Empath

Many empaths have a strong connection with animals. However, an animal empath will probably devote their lives to working for the care of our animal friends. Those with this gift will know what an animal needs and may be able to telepathically communicate with the creature.
If you are an animal empath, you probably already spend as much time with animals as you can. You may find that studying the biology or psychology of animals helps you to refine your gift. You could also consider training as an animal healer as your special talent can enable you to find out what is wrong with an animal and treat it accordingly.

6. Claircognizant/Intuitive Empath

If you are a claircognizant or intuitive empath, you will pick up information from other people simply by being around them. One glance at someone can give you all kinds of insight into that person. You will immediately know if someone is lying to you because you can sense the intentions behind their words. Those with this gift resonate to others energetic fields and read the energy of others very easily. This is closely related to the telepathic empath who can read another person’s thoughts.
If you have this ability, you need to surround yourself with people who you feel aligned with. With this gift, you may need to strengthen your energetic field so that you are not constantly bombarded with the thoughts and emotions of others.
Being an empath is not easy. You may find it confusing, disorientating and exhausting. However, understanding which of the types of empath you are can help you to use your gifts and abilities to help yourself and those around you.

Recent Psychological Study Found That Open Minded People Live In A Completely Different Reality!

A recent study examined the difference in outlook between open minded and close minded people. The study stated that the quality of ‘openness’ has a lot of deciding power on what kind of reality an individual lives in. Most open minded people live in a completely different reality than other people!
Openness is not a set quality. It includes keeping an open mind, trying new things, meeting new people – basically a desire to explore and push the boundaries of what you know and have.
Open minded people are very gregarious.

The study, called ‘Seeing it both ways’, was conducted in the Melbourne University. A hundred and twenty three participants of various backgrounds were examined. Their character and views were measured.
The test for open mindedness focused on five categories of personality – conscientiousness, neuroticism, extroversion, agreeableness, and the ability to keep an open mind to new experiences.
They then tested who experienced a visual perception phenomenon called “binocular rivalry.” This phenomenon occurs when each eye is shown a different image, in this case a red patch in one eye and a green patch to another. Most people switch back and forwards between the two incompatible images, as the brain can only perceive one at a time. But some people merge the two images into a unified red-green patch.
Most participants who looked at both patches together were the ones who scored higher on openness!
Researchers theorize that open minded people tend to be more creative. Because these people are fine with keeping their mind open to experiences, learning and perception, they easily create new mental routes inside their head. Therefore, they develop new ideas by connecting things a normal person would not.
This finding had been mentioned in an old study from 2015 as well.
Open mindedness, therefore, helps individuals attain higher planes of thought and a calmer resting state. It literally creates a different structure of reality by introducing new elements inside the picture normal people would not perceive. It broadens the world an individual lives in.

Which Figure Did You See First? Find Out What Your Hidden Fears Are!

In psychology, there are different types of evidence that are called “projection tests” that can help us discover our deepest feelings, those that lie in the subconscious. Fears, anguish, fears, goals, values, and all those elements of our personality that trigger defensive mechanisms or impulse reactions in us.
Of all these best-known projection trials are certainly the one of Rorschach, that is, the famous ink stains in which, depending on whoever looks at them, there are different types of figures inside them, each of which has a different meaning; Or other tests are the ones in which a family paper or a tree should be drawn on a sheet of paper.
Here is a test in which you will be able to find out, depending on your answer, your deeper fears and other hidden information that reflect your personality and character.

1 Little girl

If in the picture the first figure you saw is the little girl sitting, it is very likely that your repressed emotions will come from your childhood. It may be a trauma immediately in the infancy, or even in the perinatal phase, during gestation, delivery or early life. There are numerous types of events that can mark a child’s mind and, in fact, if they are not properly elaborated, they can be dragged to adulthood and cause problems or consequences. First, the relationship with your mother is crucial to emotional development, for example if the child had to spend too much time in the hospital away from the maternal figure, or if the mother has given little or no affection during the early years of Life, it is possible that everything is projected unconsciously through fears and fears in decisions that will have to be taken by adults.

2 Butterfly

Butterfly is one of the symbols to which different types of meanings have been attributed. According to the interpretation of dreams if the butterfly is bright and colorful it is a sign of good hope, a new happening in one’s life, a new happy and prosperous stage. While the butterfly is dark and light, its meaning can be linked to an opportunity that we did not know or can not grasp, to a circumstance that could be useful but we did not exploit. Finally, the meaning of this symbol deriving from the spiritual side leads the butterfly to the world of the dead and is seen as a conveyor of souls in the afterlife. If your attention has been drawn to the butterfly, it is very likely that your need is to find your way through your soul, or that of people who have disappeared. This could also result from a feeling of lost trust or the unconscious fear of death.
3 Strawberry

This strawberry placed perfectly in the center of the image and in size far greater than the fruit that exists in reality, represents the heart. Since antiquity, the strawberry is represented as a symbol of love, because legend says that because of Adonis’ death, Goddess Venus could not stop crying, and every tear that fell on the ground produced strawberries. If the first figure you saw is that of strawberry, what you are looking for is in your heart. The greatest fear is probably to come across a loving relationship that may end badly, or to fall in love with someone who does not match our love. Those who have these fears often hide behind relationships that do not trust and start with the awareness that they will be short. The origin of this fear of such an emotion often has a complicated relationship with one of the parents since childhood, but also the relationship between our parents and the way they expressed their feelings about it One of the other in front of us.

4 Skull

The skull image is not really present, but it is an optical illusion that can only be distinguished by the conjunction of other elements that are truly represented. If the first image you saw is a skull, it is very likely that you unconsciously live the fear of facing the disappointments that may result from relationships with other people and, above all, fear of your death or that of a person to you Dear. This may be due to the fact that it has in the past proved a sense of helplessness in situations in which it has not been possible to intervene, such as on other people’s choices or even on the life of someone very dear to us. The sense of guilt and helplessness should not be underestimated, but it is imperative to deal with and elaborate your own emotions.

5 Trees

As already mentioned one of the best known tests is where one is asked to draw a tree. The tree is the symbol of our roots and in this case, two trees forming a bridge are likely to mean that within us there is an inner conflict that we have not yet been able to solve. Often we know our doubts and uncertainties very well and, precisely for this reason, we can not find the best solution. In these cases, the best thing would be to consult someone who has an outside point of view, without any preference or purpose or purpose on our person, as it may help us to see the situation differently.

The Plant Extract That Kills Cancer Cells Better Than Chemo, According To Research

A traditional food that has been used for centuries to promote health and well-being has recently been studied by scientists for its usefulness in preventing or managing a common type of cancer. Studies show that this natural plant may be more effective than chemotherapy, radiation treatments and a drug that’s commonly used in cancer patients.

The Study

A study published in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry revealed that Morinda citrifolia (Noni) leaves, may be ideal for preventing or managing lung cancer. The study found that extract from a Noni leaf was more effective than the chemotherapy drug known as Erlotinib, when it came to suppressing metastasized lung cancer in an animal model.
Lung cancer takes 1.2 million lives each year, and about 80% of these lung cancer cases are classified as non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which conventional chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy is rarely able to kill, due to chemoresistance and radioresistance. Researchers pointed out, “Chemotherapy and/or irradiation usually fail because NSCLC cells are intrinsically resistant to them. Chemotherapy is quite ineffective for advanced NSCLC patients with only 20-35% response rate and a 10-12 month median survival.”
Erlotinib was approved by the FDA based on its ability to improve survival for a few months when added to conventional chemotherapy, but it has never been proven to be safe for use. This new study evaluated the effects of Noni leaves on metastasized lung cancer development in both a cell model and an animal model, and compared the results with Erlotinib, using two different types of lung cancer cells.

The Results

In the cell model, the Noni leaf extract “inhibited the proliferation and induced apoptosis” (programmed cell death). The extract caused changes consistent with those of an excellent chemotherapy agent. The Noni leaf extract also exhibited no toxicity in normal lung cells — something that chemotherapy and radiation cannot match, as they can damage healthy cells in the process.
When tested against Erlotinib in a non-small-cell lung cancer model, the Noni leaf extract significantly increased healthy gene response and decreased unhealthy gene response, increased anti-inflammatory expression in the lungs and enhanced antioxidant responses against oxidative injuries. The extract also suppressed inflammation and increased antioxidant response, and the response of apoptotic genes that suppress cancer.

The researchers concluded that “the 300 mg/kg extract was more effective than the 50 mg/kg Erlotinib for most of the parameters measured.”

Something to Think About

Erlotinib can cause upwards of $7,700 a month depending on the dose used, and it has only been shown to prolong survival, while chemotherapy and radiation have many negative side effects. Noni leaf extract can cost as little as 12 cents per 250 mg, has no negative side effects, and has been proven to aid in the process of healing. Human clinical trials are needed to obtain an FDA drug approval, but Noni leaf extract could not be patented by a company, which takes profit out of the equation.

7 Habits of Truly Happy People (That They Never Talk About)

Do you think that happiness arises because of luck and circumstance? Think again.
Happiness is a mindset and like most things in life, it takes effort and continued practice to cultivate it. The good news is, we’re all capable of finding it. We just have to look within ourselves and develop the right attitude.
So if you’re looking to improve your ability to find happiness, check out these 7 things happy people do differently.

1) Happy people find balance in their lives

The consistent theme in those who are happy is that they are content with what they have and spend little time stressing over things they don’t. Unhappy people do the opposite: they spend too much time thinking about what they don’t have. Happy people live balanced lives and make time for things that matter to them, whether it’s their career, health or religion.

2) Happy people abide by the golden rule

You’ve probably heard the saying “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.” Happy people truly embody this rule. They treat others with respect and are sensitive to their thoughts and feelings. They’re compassionate.

3) Happy people don’t sweat the small stuff

They let go of their little worries in life because they realize that they are simply a waste of energy. Bad things happen to all people, and happy people realize this so they can take it in their stride and move on.

4) Happy people take responsibility for their actions

Happy people realize that no one is perfect and neither are they. When they screw up, they admit it. They recognize their faults and work on them. But what they don’t do is complain and dwell on their weaknesses. They simply move on and don’t waste energy on what they can’t change.

5) Happy people surround themselves with other happy people

One defining characteristic of happy people is that they hang out with other happy people. They gravitate to people who are positive and who will encourage them to improve.

6) Happy people are honest with themselves and others

People who are happy often exhibit the virtues of honesty and trustworthiness. They give honest feedback and expect the same in return. They respect people who give an honest opinion.

7) Happy people are passionate

Folks who are happy accept challenges and use them as opportunities to learn and grow. They turn negatives into positives and make the best out of seemingly bad situations. They don’t dwell on things they can’t control, rather they seek solutions and creative ways of overcoming obstacles in their way.

15 Habits of People With Concealed Depression

Depression is a very serious mental illness that often goes unnoticed for years. People with concealed depression are battling demons within themselves all on their own. They are not sharing their struggles and do not want to burden those around them.
You see, for most people wounds are not something we are open about. We tend to bottle things up and attempt to remedy them on our own. If you are reading this then you must know someone who you feel you need to better understand or you relate to this yourself. The following 15 habits are some of the most common I have noticed in people dealing with concealed depression.
1. The are often quite talented and very expressive.
Alot of famous people have suffered from mental illnesses, and this suffering gives them deeper emotions. If you really think about it, this is in some form a source to their greatness. While we cannot always see it, their struggles are often reflected in their works. These people are able to bring something beautiful out of the darkness that consumes them.
2. They tend to search for purpose.
We all need a purpose in this life. We want to be sure that we are in some form doing meaningful things. People suffering from hidden depression are not exempt from this. They too want to know the reason for their existence. They are much more susceptible to feeling things like inadequacy and anxiety which leaves them searching for something they can never seem to achieve in their own minds.
3. Sometimes they make muted cries for help.
Sometimes we all need help. When we are not expecting someone to feel weak or to be down in the dumps, we don’t see their cries for help. However, if you notice their cries and can help them in any way, you are creating a very close and trust filled bond with them.

4. They interpret substances differently.
Someone who is dealing with depression usually knows what it is they can take to ease their pain in a sense. They know that caffeine and sugar will raise their mood and that some medicines can help them. They actually have to put a lot of effort into feeling better, unlike most people. It is not as simple as taking a Tylenol when you have a headache.
5. They often have a very involved perception of life and death.
People suffering from depression often face their own mortality in moments of despair and seek answers to life’s deepest questions. They tend to shift from one terrible mindset into another. Sure, not all depressed people deal with suicidal thoughts, but some do.
People with depression may not be able to eat much or at all when they are at their worst. That being said some of them may eat more when at their worst. It varies from person to person.
People with depression will often sleep for what seems like or may literally be days. Sleep at times can be impossible while other times could be the only thing left that the person can do. When a person is depressed they are dealing with a state of helplessness that will rock their world.
8. They have abandonment issues usually.
If you have dealt with abandonment then you know how terrible it can be. When someone walks out of your life it can be a devastating, but this impacts those with depression much more than other people. It causes them to be more and more secretive about their feelings and creates a fear within them of being abandoned by their loved ones.
9. They are professionals at coming up with ‘cover-up’ stories.
They are able to come up with believable elaborate excuses for the things they are going through. Like if they skip an appointment or don’t return your calls for days. They can easily change the subject when things like this come up and turn the attention away from their pain.
10. They might have habitual remedies.
There are several different lifestyle changes a person can make as an attempt to ease their minds. For instance, these people may do things like exercise, listen to music, go walking, and so forth.
11. They are aways making efforts to seem happy.
People suffering from depression learn to fake moods. They will often come off as happy and normal on the outside. When they let their inner struggles appear on the outside they feel as if they are bringing others down.
12. They seek love and acceptance.
People with hidden depression are not hiding their depression because they want to be dishonest, they are just working to protect their hearts. These people want to be loved and accepted just like everyone else.
13. They have trouble shutting off their brains.
These people process everything going on in their lives at a fast speed. They over analyze the good and the bad making everything impact them much deeper. Their brains are like sponges absorbing everything that comes their way.
14. They hurt when other people hurt.
When other people are suffering it brings them down to their worst points. This sort of thing often triggers their emotional pain and can be crippling.
15. They always think of the worst-case scenarios.
While this is very stressful it can be beneficial from time to time. A high intelligence seems to be linked with depression, and they are able to respond to anything that comes their way. This makes them good problem solvers for the most part.
If you or someone you care about is suffering from concealed depression either get help or offer a helping hand. Fighting this alone is not easy or productive. The world can be a wonderful place if you get the help you need nothing can stand in your way. You are not a burden to others and the people who love and care about you want to help you, let them.

Woman Shares Honest Selfie To Help End Habit That Almost Killed Her

Tammy Dzierzek, 27, had a common habit that many people can relate to. One that she says almost killed her. In an effort to warn both men and women about the dangers of tanning beds, she shared a graphic photo of her skin cancer treatment on Facebook.

Along with the photo, Tammy explained how she came to be diagnosed with skin cancer. She wrote, “I did the bulk of my tanning in high school. I sometimes laid up to 4 times a weel (I laid frequently because my tan faded very fast). I never laid in the tanning bed and in the sun in the same day. I never laid in the tanning bed twice in one day. I had my first skin cancer diagnosis at 21.”
She continued, “”Now, at 27, I’ve had basal cell carcinoma 5 times and squamous cell carcinoma once (excluding my face). I go to the dermatologist every 6-12 months and usually have a skin cancer removed at each checkup. I’m very thankful to not have had melanoma! Skin cancer is not always moles, only one of mine have been a mole.”
Tammy urged Facebook users to see a doctor if they notice any suspicious spots or growths on their body. “Anything that doesn’t heal, possibly bleeds on and off and crusts,” she said.

The Truth About Skin Cancer

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, over 5.4 million cases of nonmelanoma skin cancer are treated in more then 3.3. million people each year in the United States. UV radiation is a proven human carcinogen and one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime.
More than 419,000 cases of skin cancer in the United States each year are linked to indoor tanning, and people who have ever tanned indoors have a 69% risk of developing basal cell carcinoma before the age of 40.
While some Facebook users said they avoid tanning beds, others admitted they have the same habit. Many people thanked her for her honesty and her message. Tammy wrote,” If anyone needs a little motivation to not lay in the tanning bed and sun here ya go! This is what skin cancer treatment can look like. Wear sunscreen and get a spray tan. Learn from other people’s mistakes.”
If you are going to wear sunscreen, go with one with all natural ingredients and please avoid spray tan.

Research Finds Popular Nut Reduces Cholesterol Better Than Statins!

Doctors often prescribe statins for those who suffer from high cholesterol. While statins are effective at lowering cholesterol levels, they’re also linked to many adverse health issues, including muscle pain, digestive problems, memory loss, confusion and liver damage. Researchers have recently discovered a safer and more natural way to reduce cholesterol levels, and this method doesn’t come with any harmful side effects.

Study Finds Brazil Nuts Can Lower Cholesterol Levels Better Than Statins

Researchers gave ten men and women a single meal containing zero, one, four or eight Brazil nuts. They found that just a single serving improved cholesterol levels almost immediately. Just nine hours after ingesting the nuts, the participants saw a significantly lower level of LDL cholesterol levels. Statins take around four days to have a significant effect on cholesterol levels.

One month after the participants ate the Brazil nuts, researchers measured their cholesterol levels again. They found that their cholesterol levels were still down, 30 days later after eating a single serving of nuts.
Researchers found something else interesting. Four nuts seemed to work faster than eight nuts when it came to boosting good cholesterol and lowering bad cholesterol. The results suggest that just four Brazil nuts may be able to improve LDL and HDL levels for up to 30 days.
Brazil nuts contain selenium, so eating four a day might be too much for the body. But eating just four a month might prove more to be more effective than statins at helping patients manage high cholesterol levels, and certainly safer.
